Don't let taking up a new craft be daunting.
When the opportunity arises, we like to pick up secondhand lacemaking equipment and offer it to help our learners access the things they need for lacemaking at an affordable cost.

We also run a subscription service so newbies can pay weekly or monthly for items.

Our current equipment has come from the estate of a long term Bedfordshire lacemaker who donated her equipment to Buwell Lacemakers to raise money for charity. We gave a donation to the charity on behalf of our group.
Any money made for selling the equipment is used to buy further pillows and bobbins that our group members can then buy and pay for monthly to help spread the costs.
